What a great month it has been! December was full of blessings...family, friends and FOOD! I got to spend lots of time with loved ones and definitely ate my fair share of treats. I am truly grateful to God for how good He has been!

We did our last Taft Middle School outreach for 2023. Horizon Christian Fellowship organizes a short Bible study after school when Taft has a minimum day. Pastor Phillip Macintosh gave a short Christmas message about inviting Jesus into your life this Christmas season. Afterward we handed out Chick-Fil-A sandwiches to the kids. It was a great turnout; around 100 kids showed up. I pray that they all understand the true meaning of Christmas this year!

We had our Christmas party for the Jr High Ministry. We had a quick Bible message for them and then played games, had hot chocolate, did a gift exchange and ate pizza. A very special thank you to teacher Allyson who organized the party! Everything turned out great and the kids really enjoyed it.

I was still able to get a lot of work done amidst the holiday season. One of the jobs I did was help install a large 10 x 20 foot gazebo. It was a fun project and I am enjoying learning construction in the US. I worked with an old friend, Mike Peace, that I hadn't seen in a while. He actually came down to Aguascalientes on a missions trip to help out back in 2018. It was good to reconnect and fellowship.

I had a great Christmas with all of the family! It was a blessing because usually I see only my brother or my sister, but this year they were both in town with their kids. It was fun to get to be "Uncle Bob-o" and hang out with my nephews and my niece. It was great to see them so happy opening their presents. We are so blessed and have so much to be thankful for!

Another trip down to Aguascalientes. I flew down on December 28th, in order to spend the New Year down in Mexico.

We celebrated one of my girl's, Ariana's, birthday. She turned 21 on December 26th but we celebrated on the 29th, when I was in town. She wanted to go bowling and then eat at a Brazilian Steakhouse...good choice! We had a great time and ate a lot! One of her gifts was a ukulele, which she has wanted for some time. She was very happy to receive it and that makes me happy. I'm excited to see her grow up and I'm honored that God has used me to bless her life. I pray for her future and am thankful that I get to see her transformation into a beautiful, mature woman. Happy Birthday Ariana! May God continue to bless you and guide you!

I celebrated my last day of 2023 with lots of friends and a couple of parties. I started off the night having dinner with my girlfriend and her family. After that we went to visit some of my best friends here in Aguascalientes. And later we finished the night in another part of town with a different group of friends, who always have a party in the street. We were there till about 6am and making lots of noise. We had a bonfire, set off fireworks and smashed piñatas. The neighbors never complained...VIVA MÉXICO!! It was a great time and such a fun way to celebrate another year of life. I'm excited for what 2024 will bring!

Happy New Year to everyone reading this and thank you all very much for taking the time to read my blogs. 2023 has been a great year as I closed out a huge chapter in my life and returned home to the United States. I am still regularly involved in what's going on in Aguascalientes and this city has a giant piece of my heart. I want to come and visit as much as I can and continue to be a blessing to the people here. I will continue to love and support my two girls, Ariana & Elvira, as they move forward with their studies and advance in life. Thank you to everybody who has supported & prayed for the ministries down here. You have been such a blessing and we couldn't have done it without all of you! I wish you all a very blessed 2024 and may God grant you the desires of your heart. And in return may we all acknowledge our Heavenly Father, who loves us so much, and honor Him with all that we have this new year. God bless you guys and thanks again amigos!
